Hi there, I'm Louka. I am a software engineer, security consultant, fiction/nonfiction writer, and web developer from Canada.

You may know me for my work at Synapse Softworks LLC, a software engineering, data gathering, and cybersecurity research and development company based in Orlando, Florida. As COO, I mainly oversee day-to-day operations, help around in engineering, manage intelligence, and handle recruitment and contracting, but I also do some work as a security & business policy consultant. Today, we work with global platforms such as Roblox to secure their infrastructure and hinder software penetration.

I am also the Chair of Unicode's editorial committee, where we routinely build and improve the documentation, the books, and the websites which thousands of companies and communities worldwide rely on for implementing Unicode's various standards and specifications. As a hobby, I occasionally (ghost)write screenplays and nonfiction essays, as well as casually study psychopharmacology and the medicinal potential of psychoactive compounds, both ancient and modern, in the treatment of cognitive disorders and the development of spirituality.
