Thanks for responding
After doing a little bit of experimenting, I came up with the following logos:
I'll just re-use your icons, as I really like them and I don't want to waste more time on designing (I suck at it, but you gotta do what you gotta do). Thanks again, I'll add your name (and mbaruli's) to the credits section of the README of my project.

Hi,
I'm the designer of the nostr logo.
For the logotype I started using a Montserrat which I enlarged and rounded at the corners.
To create your logo I would like to suggest you to put side by side another font in order to suggest a relationship between the two elements but with differences.
nostr(original font a little bit bold) chan (Montserrat regular or a more squared font)
However I used the Montserrat font.
