Thanks for the report - do you have the native dark theme enabled? It stacks well with my theme.

@mauricecruz, I came here because I was having the same issue. Your solution mentioned above fixed the color discrepancy. Maybe just mention the native dark theme, and how to find it in the chrome dev tool settings, as a part of the "Getting Started" section of your docs.
