NSData to video transformation? about transformerkit HOT 1 CLOSED

I'm storing video in CoreData as NSData

While it's possible, and has gotten much better with the addition of the "External Storage" option in Core Data, I would strongly recommend against doing this. Instead, you may want to consider writing the video to the file system and keeping a reference to the filename instead.

That said, you could easily create your own transformer for whatever operation you need to do—it should be pretty easy. Having not really done much video on iOS myself, I'm reluctant to add this to core myself.
