The registration module is designed to be used in public settings and so the data you publish - the work records - and accept in - attendances and new profiles - are from the public internet. Although device registration provides an additional layer of security, anyone with access to the device could gain the token and key and re-use them elsewhere. Device token/key pairs can be de-registered as needed.

The use cases this module is designed for sees this as an acceptable risk. If your scenario is such that this level of risk and subsequent impact of breach is too high, we recommend:

• placing additional physical controls on access to the registration device
• implementing a policy to change device tokens frequently.

9 Setting publishing settings

You will need the publishing module. You'll need to allow:

• publish work records
• allow new profiles to be created
• allow creating first names, surname, email address, mobile, contact permissions
• publish number of people allowed to attend work records
• enable adding attendees, and set attendance role and type
