it helps if my initial state if true but i want it to be the opposite.
the initial state should be false (close)..

Hey @xingsuo

You first reference the ActionButton by doing something like:
<ActionButton ref={_this => this.actionbutton = _this}

Then you can call the methods animateButton and reset anywhere in your component like this:
this.actionbutton.animateButton()

But you can also use ActionButton's prop active to manage its state, which is probably a cleaner solution.
