Please DO NOT allow the problem to save if it does not have a Standard, otherwise you cannot compute the difficulty level and these values need to be set. MathSpring breaks at execution time otherwise.

By save, do you mean save as testable/ready or even as dead?
Because the moment you create a new problem, there will never be a standard associated with it.

Would you prefer that this check should be done when saving as testable/ready?
If we want it to be done for dead problems as well, then I think we will need to have some notion of a "default standard".

Please do share your thoughts!

Not allow to save it as anything, not as ready, not as testable, not as anything.

This means that the Standards should be placed upfront when creating a new problem (metainfo component).

I was working on the problem and as of now the issue of getting the problem difficulty in the overallprobdifficulty table is sorted. I was trying to work out the front end design for the metainfo component in the create problem phase, but I have not been able to do so. My opinion around this is that we need not be spending time on the design if it is just about getting the difficulty per se.
