[Bug] Issues getting Quickstarted - Pod getting killed off, readiness probe failed about mariadb-operator HOT 2 CLOSED

Thanks for reporting this 🙏🏻

At the moment both the liveness and the readiness probes are hardcoded, which is not ideal:

• https://github.com/mariadb-operator/mariadb-operator/blob/main/pkg/builder/statefulset_builder.go#L150..L163

Since you are running in k3s, 10s might not be suffice for the MariaDB process to be ready, so in order to mitigate this I will:

• Relax the default liveness and readiness probes, something like

	probe := &v1.Probe{
		ProbeHandler: v1.ProbeHandler{
			Exec: &v1.ExecAction{
				Command: []string{
					"bash",
					"-c",
					"mysql -u root -p${MARIADB_ROOT_PASSWORD} -e \"SELECT 1;\"",
				},
			},
		},
		InitialDelaySeconds: 30,
		TimeoutSeconds:      10,
		PeriodSeconds:       10,
	}

• Make the probes configurable in the MariaDB CRD

I believe this should cover your case, right?. It will be included in the next release.
