I have already implemented the "asynchronous" loading of the images (#2), and the time that elapses between one element and the next of the list during the scrolling is the one necessary to recode the data for planar-mode 0x12 16 colors of one row of pixels.
I am implementing better keyboard handling whereby it will be possible to identify pressing, repeating and releasing a key (#15). It will help to further improve the performance in the graphical user interface mode.
