Are you running prepare.sh using a Terminal when you are in the scripts/ folder?
same for prepare-icu4c-macos.sh.

Ok nvm I figured it out. But the xcode project still does not build

In xcode it still just says: 'libetpan/libetpan.h' file not found
Is this file elsewhere on my computer?

If you ran ./prepare.sh properly, that would work.

You'd better remove directory MailCore-Builds in you home directory. Run ./prepare.sh in script directory again.

Thank you guys so much. I seriously spent like a week trying to build the original mailcore when I stumbled upon mailcore2 today. I'll learn more about unix when I am done with my app haha
