Implemented on libetpan side.
Now needs to be on mailcore.

  • A fetch mask needs to be added.
  • A fetch attribute needs to be added while calling the low-level APIs of libetpan.
  • The value needs to be retrieved from libetpan low-level structures.
  • A property on IMAPMessage needs to be added on C++ and ObjC classes.

I worry that this sorta makes the framework biased to Gmail. I mean, EtPan did a pretty good job of separating the generic stuff and the Gmail stuff, but it was still kinda weird to not be able to use any of the extensions reliably with other mail providers.

Lots of users of libetpan/mailcore target specifically gmail. That might make sense to make life easier for them.

Alright. Want this in a category on the classes you mentioned, or should it be a part of the main interface?

Main interface might be easier. You can see that there's already a gmailLabels property in message.
