You may need to run scripts/dns_update.sh after adding mail users. Otherwise, make sure you're connecting to the SMTP submission port (587).

I've had the same problem and ran script/dns_update.sh. But it gave me errors and after that, SMTP didn't work any more via the RoundCube web interface: "SMTP Error: [451] 4.7.1 Service unavailable - try again later".

Then I just ran sudo ./scripts/start.sh a second time and it started working again.

I've just patched dns_update so that it knows it needs to run inside bash and not another shell, which should fix that. Thanks.

Having same problem. i havent added any new user. only the one created as admin while installation.
Signs when sending mail from roundcube, but does not sign when sending using SMTP.
