I'm afraid I don't understand what your issue is - what are you expecting which is different from what you are getting?
The firmware simply converts the incoming PPM values into channel values on the USB joystick, so based on your description, I'd say it's working fine - your transmitter is sending channels 1, 2, 5 and 7, so the joystick sees values on channels 1, 2, 5, 7. If you need other joystick channels, you'll need to configure your transmitter to send on those channels.
