Thank you for the research and detailed report. I am aware that there are a lot of balance issues with heroes. Mostly because a lot of abilities were changed/removed as game changed a lot since heroes were implemented.
However, as I already mentioned before, there are no changes planned to the current hero system. There is new system planned and being implemented really slowly. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to sit down and work on it right now, so this will probably remain unresolved for some time.

Ah, I see. I only recently, basically only a few minutes before I originally made this post, found the message in which you mentioned that you were planning on changing the hero system. It was thanks to the keyword "system" that I found it, as the message is pretty difficult to find without. (Suggestion: perhaps you could pin something about it).
I noticed you mentioned it over a year ago. Sorry, I completely missed this message earlier when I decided to make this issue topic (despite searching at that time) I mean.
I'm not in a hurry to see any changes with the bot you made. I just wanted to inform you of something that I happen to notice while I was trying out the bot's heroes and wanted to take a closer look at the numbers while at it. I posted the information here thinking it may be useful for something.
Take all the time you need. I'm pretty certain, especially after reading the announcements you made yesterday, that your life is busy enough even without this project.
edit: Now for the fun part.
Lets see what happens when the quest rewards are at their highest.
(So instead you get 600 from two quests + 300 (from the daily), granting 1500 tomatoes in total.)
(Chinatsu gets 1170 x3, 3510. I know this is extremely exceptional, but possible.)
(This has happened enough in a row for Yui to be able to claim up to max.)

Under these circumstances chinatsu is short on 90 tomatoes for the next claim. Yui is 250 short. Akari is 287.5 tomatoes short and Kyoko is short 300 tomatoes. Getting the best rewards for quests is pretty unlikely though. The quests and their rewards are given by chances, meaning, especially for Chinatsu it's very rare as she needs three quests with max rewards to obtain this. The others only receive two quests and thus have a higher chance on the best rewards.
What is surprising is the amount of extra cards the heroes can claim. Under these circumstances both Chinatsu and Akari can claim 2 more cards, where as both Yui and Kyoko only gets one extra.
I am not too sure what the avarage quest rewards are. I might try to make another table with that if I could. But still, this is interesting.
I have also been thinking something silly. If Akari's second ability would be 'get one additional random card from a randomly chosen series when claiming the daily tomatoes', she would place on the card count one higher spot than Yui when given the best rewards, or be equal to her under the lowest quest reward circumstances. But to be fair, I think that only adding a buff like this it would increase the distance between Kyoko and the others too much. I am not too sure on it either, on how one would improve the balancing here, so I understand it's complicated.
