1Password SSH Agent Support about medis HOT 10 OPEN

I think this won't ever work if you do not offer using Medis outside of appstore, maybe an opportunity to sell it through website rather than just AppStore?

Thanks for using Medis! That sounds like an interesting idea and I'd love to learn more about that.

Medis does support using ~/.ssh/config, but due to the sandbox, you will need to select it in the application settings: https://docs.getmedis.com/settings/custom-ssh-config. Can you take a look and let me know if it doesn't work for you?

@luin it still requires me to select a key, and i can't do that as 1Password based key is not a file.

I agree. Seems that its not going to work like that, so non-sandboxed version of the app is the only option here sadly.

Good news: Medis is also distributed outside of App Store: https://getmedis.com/

I tested it locally and the non-sandboxed version does work with 1Password. However, due to https://developer.1password.com/docs/ssh/agent/security#suppressing-background-requests, you have to click the 1Password icon in the menu bar to permit the access. I will take a look to see if we can let 1Password prompt for Medis.

To use 1Password agent in Medis, select your SSH config in Medis's application settings, and leave the private key empty.
