100% cpu usage in chrome about h5ai HOT 12 CLOSED

okay, that's not good. it was never reported before, even for large folders. do you get any errors on the console?

thanks, I'm able to reproduce the freeze when (and only when) hovering over the 'Florence..' or 'Kimbra..' entry. That's really strange.. have to check what's different with those two entries... do you leave these folders public?

so, for now I'm lost. I get this problem only in chrome and only for those two files. the only thing that happens on hover - besides some css styling - is that the hover states get synced between diffrent links that have the same href.. maybe try to disable this feature (https://github.com/lrsjng/h5ai/blob/master/src/h5ai/options.js#L75) but I'm not too confident that this will solve the problem..

can make this more clear please, what are you referring to here? for me it looks pretty much the same in latest chrome, firefox and opera..

I turned linkHoverStates to false btw

linkHoverStates=false seems to fix it at my side. chrome doesn't freeze on those two entries any longer.

as for the screenshot: your folders show up as intended and all the same in latest stable chrome, firefox and opera. maybe a cache thing?

The problem with linkHoverStates should be fixed with release 0.16.

Couldn't see or reproduce CSS problems in Firefox, so I close this issue for now.
