It maybe due to the rust f64::cbrt implemention difference between macos and linux.

For same code:

    println!("{}",-0.055605003447049994_f64.cbrt())

On my mbp m1 laptop, it returns -0.3816845880251514 , however it got -0.3816845880251513 on rust-playground.

The small differences ultimately led to significant differences in the final calculation results.

Interesting, I thought they are defined to be equal by floating point standard IEEE 754

Yes, it matches IEEE 754 defined accuracy error rule, but it is somewhat weird for the same language having different behavior.
