So apparently you can write html in an original notification but it doesn't work when you want to update an existing one.
This won't work:
// original notification
let notif = {
id: 1,
title: "Transaction submitted",
message:
"Transaction <a href=" +
url +
hash +
">" +
hash.slice(0, 10) +
"...</a> was just submitted. Waiting for confirmation...",
status: "info",
allowHTML: true,
}
notify(notif)
// We update it like so
notif = Object.assign(notif, {
title: "Transaction success",
message: "<p>some html</p>",
status: "success",
dismissible: true,
dismissibleAfter: 5000
});
dispatch(notify(notif));
But this will:
// original notification
let notif = {
id: 1,
title: "Transaction submitted",
message:
"Transaction <a href=" +
url +
hash +
">" +
hash.slice(0, 10) +
"...</a> was just submitted. Waiting for confirmation...",
status: "info",
allowHTML: true,
}
notify(notif)
// We update it like so
notif = Object.assign(notif, {
title: "Transaction success",
message: "NO HTML HERE",
status: "success"
});
dispatch(notify(notif));

My bad! it was my variable in the HTML that was causing the update not to go through!
