Well my point is that I don't want to write I'm scared of [[Mouse]] as that just looks wrong.
So I don't see how the replacement command could help in this case.

I like the solution you proposed, not sure when this will be done!
A temporary solution is to use custom commands.

You can add these to the config file logseq/config.edn:

:commands [["mice" "[[Mouse]]"]
                     ["Another one example"] "[[Replaced string]]"]

Basically, it will replace mice with [[Mouse]].
