I had a short glance at the ATOM specs adn they are talking about these 5 elements + a fully qualified URL for rel
only. Hence my first concern would be that we would generate a non-valid feed by adding this.
But since it seems that the paged ATOM feed is an IETF standard and they will probably have though about this, please go ahead and create a pull request for this. Should be easy enough. As long as it is still a valid feed, it is fine with me ;-)

I added support for extra values for the rel attribute. I reckon it does the job for atom feeds but since it is possible to cast a feed both to Atom and RSS I wonder if and how these extra attributes should be handled in case of RSS.
From what I could see :
- RSS only needs one URL. We use the first (atom) link for RSS

this seems a bit random especially with now so many possible link attributes - atom links with rel 'self' are handled anyway
