Please try this branch which is an attempt to solve #2.

Seems to work great. I'm a little sad that I cant just do a 1 stop definition in my dict, but at least I only have to add additional naming when the command itself is super long or not obvious what it does.

If your rhs of map is too complex, it's definitely safer to wrap it with a command, function or another map. I have used this plugin for a while, it can handle most common cases, but I can't guarantee its bug-free :).
