Adding block macros using #| ... |# would not be difficult as long they are not nestable. The current scanner/parser cannot handle nested comments. The parser would be more CLish with a rewrite but most of it would have to be hand-crafted.

I guess I didn't reference this issue properly in my pull request. But this is now in master! So we have delicious block comment goodness. Can close this now. :)
