While you may have set up the environment incorrectly :-) the error definitely comes from my assuming that the sources are included in the erlang/otp install. I will fix that. The only thing that confuses me is that you see the error when compiling lfe_comp.erl as that file is only included lfe_codegen.erl.

Would you like to see the full report?? I can recompile to generate if it helps. I have erlang, elixir running on the pi (or ODROID-W pi clone at least). Since it is a clean install of the erlang/otp from https://www.erlang-solutions.com/downloads/download-erlang-otp I think it is safely installed correctly etc. as I have been working through erlang and elixir examples on the board (as well as on my PC).

Are you doing "install erlang" or "install erlang-mini"? Could you send me the full report and perhaps do a "ls -R -C" on the erlang installation and send me the output?
from lfe.
Actually tried both. When erlang-mini did not work I purged it and then
installed full erlang.
In the middle of writing Disseration for my Masters so I will get you a
full report when I am taking a breather.
Cheers,
A

No worries, take your time. I will attack the problem of needing to have the erlang sources available when you build LFE.

so, handed my dissertation in (finally) and now wife feels we are moving
house. This will likely not get looked at by me for another two months but
it is on my to do.

I think I have a Raspberry Pi somewhere around the office, once I find some time I can help you getting latest LFE built on it. Give me some days and I'll see what I can do.
from lfe.
The problem is that compiling LFE assumes that erlang has been installed with the sources. This is not always the default.
