I would love to see more of usage of Profile pages.
If the profile page consists of Twitter handle name, it could possibly replace it. And would be lovely to see what each other do within the community at the event badges.

we allowed to link to other profile than twitter at WCSwitzerland and we saw on the attendees page that if we link to the wordpress.org profile, the link is very long.
It would be great to have a shorter domain linking directly to our profiles.
For example have the "profiles" subdomain also working on wp.org on top of wordpress.org
