Same here, it's now unusable, and seems to have been introduced by Atom 1.17...

Hi, thanks for the reporting.

I'm not an active user of Atom anymore (switched to vim a few months ago), but, for now, I'm mostly too busy with professional work and deadlines to be able to fix this package before a few months.

If you want to become a collaborator and do the work, I will be happy to include you on the collaborators list of the package, allowing you to publish the update to apm.

As @aversini mentioned it seems that Atom now has a similar built in functionality. So, maybe your package isn’t needed anymore.

I'm willing to help as well, but I never debug a plugin before. Since the plugin freeze on usage, how would I debug this?

@aversini / @leny - I have submitted a fix for this issue when you get a chance to review. It seems to have fixed the freezing at least on my setup.
