The script does a check and loads the atrun launchd if ever it's unloaded. I have not tested on macOS 12 yet, will do next week when I can get my hands on a test mac.

One other thing to check is if you have the mobileconfig provided pushed through a MDM to the computers. It is required to let atrun access the files on the drive. If not, you can add /usr/libexec/atrun to the Security & Privacy preference pane, Privacy, Full Disk Access. That would need to be done manually on each Mac if you can't use the mobileconfig file (PPPC - atrun full disk access.mobileconfig). Be careful, as it's a PPPC configuration profile, it can only be pushed with an MDM and not installed manually.
