Knowing very little about .npmignore best practices, what about LICENSE, README.md, .travis.yml, .gitignore?
from q.
It looks like q.js has enough license info in it that LICENSE can be added to the npmignore. Similar with the README -- seems like a user could figure out how to get more info on q.js by looking at the q.js file.
.gitignore are automatically ignored.
I'm not sure how travis works -- if it consumes npm-installed packages, then I would not put it in the npmignore. Otherwise, I would add it.
from q.
I believe Travis just checks out the code.

BTW @kriskowal is ref_send.md
subsumed by this wiki page?
from q.
@domenic I would like to retain a copy of ref send in the repository to make it easier to study the project. Perhaps we can create a directory for it and put other related bits in there. Maybe archive
, or subsume it under design
.
