Hey @fredoche, there are two ways to accomplish this that I can think of off the top of my head, with examples below:

set compression config in code
use shortstop to process

1. Setting value in code

// index.js
'use strict';

var express = require('express');
var meddleware = require('meddleware');
var config = require('./config/middleware');

config.compression.module.arguments = [{
  threshold: 512,
  filter: function () {
    // custom filter impl
  }
}];

var app = express();
app.use(meddleware(config));
// ...

2. Using `shortstop`
