Reason for re-opening this issue for v0.1.2 release: used file variable to determine absolute path of fte_relay location. This does not work in python "frozen" mode.

Pyinstaller packages the fte_relay binary but does not include our DFA data files.

  • In normal mode DFA files would be retrieved from the parent directory of the fte_relay location. Which is the directory where the source is located.
  • In "frozen" mode the fte_relay location in /tmp./_M.../..., but this is not where our tar file is extracted. Hence, fte_relay can't find any *.dfa files.

Used the solution provided on [1] to distinguish between normal and "frozen" modes.
