check the logs. My guess; memory issues.
The VM is quite big. You can try and set a lower memory threshold, see KONG_VB_MEM (here https://github.com/Kong/kong-vagrant#environment-variables-and-configuration )
This Vagrant box is basically obsolete:
- if you're using it for developing plugins, please checkout
pongoinstead https://github.com/Kong/kong-pongo - if using for developing Kong itself, checkout
