The source of the problem we had was the wrong declaration of sprite address in the style.
The old wrong:
"sprites": "https://klokantech.github.io/roman-empire-vector-map/icons/sprite",
should be correctly:
"sprite": "https://klokantech.github.io/roman-empire/icons/sprite",
Now it is fixed. Autocomplete suggests correctly the names of icons in the online editor too...
I have modified the style to show the circle_11 - as a demonstration.
The commit is linked above (because it had in the message the number of this ticket).
