I see the import function is now working so I'll take that as a yes. Yay! Thanks!

http://twinery.org/2test appears to have gone down - does that mean a release is on the way? :-)

Let's say that if no other critical bugs pop up, I will be able to put out a release by next Wednesday.

Sorry to hassle about this but is there an ETA for the beta 2 update? http://twinery.org/2test seems to fix the issues we were having and generally provide a much more stable experience

The 'how to' video we're working on is scheduled to go live at the start of next week.

Cheers!

/2test/ is not a dependable URL. I use it for, as it says, tesitng purposes. I want to wait a little bit to see if any major bugs appear before pushing an update to the usual /2/ URL.

Brooke, if you're feeling adventurous, you can download the latest source at https://bitbucket.org/klembot/twinejs/get/tip.zip and build the app for your own use, though it will require installing Node (http://nodejs.org) and following the instructions in the README. Otherwise... sit tight and it will be fixed in beta 2!

Appears to be fixed in chrome.

Yay, we were having the same problem and now it's fixed! Also seems to have fixed the issue we were having with 'Publish to file' generating an empty unplayable .html file.

Is this link ( http://twinery.org/2test ) going to continue to work for the foreseeable future? We are in the process of making a 'how to Twine' video for use with schools so don't want to point them somewhere that's going to cease to exist soon!

Thanks!

(I should've mentioned also that I'm using Safari 7.1.)

Yep, that works for me. Is there a way for me to download this version? Thanks!

I think this was fixed in c0586b5da8fd08c7efe400f8426e77edd48a0ac4. Can you try http://twinery.org/2test and let me know if it looks fixed there?

I get a similar message when trying to import from Firefox 32.0.3 on Win7 x64. The exact message I get on firefox is:
An error occurred while trying to import this file. (TwineApp.selectors is undefined)

If I am using Chrome 37.0.2062.124 (same machine) I get:
An error occurred while trying to import this file. (Cannot read property 'story' of undefined)

I even tried Internet Explorer 10.0.12, and I get the following message:
An error occurred while trying to import this file. (Unable to get property 'story' of undefined or null reference)

In all cases, I click the "archive" button on the right side, then immediately try to import it. I even tried clearing the story list and then importing it. I always get the same error.
