This was an issue in librarian-chef: applicationsonline/librarian#159
It is supposed to be fixed. Do these machines have an old librarian version?
from kitchenplan.
They're brand new machines :(
Would using an older version of librarian chef help?
Current versions are:
librarian-0.1.1
librarian-chef-0.0.2
from kitchenplan.
Can you try to comment out these lines in the Cheffile?
cookbook "osxdefaults", :github => "kitchenplan/chef-osxdefaults"
cookbook "dotfiles", :github => "kitchenplan/chef-dotfiles"
Just do it in /opt/kitchenplan and run ./kitchenplan
from kitchenplan.
that seems to get further, dotfiles/osxdefaults are referenced in a few users config yaml's and then this happens:
Checking sudo/2.2.3 <https://github.com/kitchenplan/sudo#master>
[Librarian] Resolving dotfiles (>= 0.0.0) <(no source specified)>
[Librarian] Checking manifests
[Librarian] Caching http://community.opscode.com/api/v1/cookbooks/dotfiles to /opt/kitchenplan/tmp/librarian/cache/source/chef/site/877777683730772c/dotfiles/metadata.json
[Librarian] Performing http-get for http://community.opscode.com/api/v1/cookbooks/dotfiles
Could not get http://community.opscode.com/api/v1/cookbooks/dotfiles because 404 Not Found!
am dropping both sudo
and root_ssh_agent
calls inside the Cheffile too - will update shortly
from kitchenplan.
Can you pull? i've changed something in the Cheffile, there was a double dotfile mention. Maybe that's the culprit?
Wondering what changed since yesterday someone here did a full install without issues :(
from kitchenplan.
Will pull.
from kitchenplan.
nope that does not seem to solve it. back to the beginning now. I've pulled from your repo not my fork (being updated via upstream remote)
have you tried clearing your /opt/kitchenplan folder and running it from scratch for yourself @roderik ?
from kitchenplan.
Sorry!!! stop!!
My bad! :(
from kitchenplan.
:)
from kitchenplan.
it works when i use your chef-applications repo - which i don't normally do, we have additions to them which I will do pull requests on rather then managing a separate forked repo.
