What is the status on this? I´m runnin into the same problem here, I would love to have the output of the test in a format which can be read by our jenkins.

The changes required for this are in my fork https://github.com/rlgomes/KIF and I've already gotten full approval for getting my pull request back into the master branch (#106 (comment)) but I'm awaiting response from my management on signing the Individual Contributor License Agreement

FYI, I have just sent a pull request for the xcoder gem (see https://github.com/rayh/xcoder) that adds support for KIF output parsing. This has two benefits:

  1. You can execute the tests via a CLI harness and get sensible output. See
    iTermScreenSnapz002 for an example.
  2. xcoder has an output parsing mechanism that processes logged messages and creates JUnit reports from them. If you run your CI tests via a script that uses Xcoder, you'll get very readable console output in Jenkins and it will create JUnit reports.

See the pull request for details @ rayh/xcoder#58

Since KIF 2.0 uses OCUnit, Jenkin's existing OCUnit -> JUnit logging should work.
