Hmm it doesn't work even if I use style.primary.disabled
Can't you have nested classes at all?
I must be missing something here...

We don't support nested classes. To do what you're attempting, you should do something like:
const styles = StyleSheet.create({
primary: {
backgroundColor: 'green',
},
primaryDisabled: {
backgroundColor: '#eee'
},
secondary: {
backgroundColor: 'red',
},
disable: {
backgroundColor: '#999'
},
});
// ...
<Button className={ css(styles.primary, styles.primaryDisabled) } />
