I'll fix it but it's ugly as we get all categories as uppercase and the UI Capitalize them so idk, I'll just add a raw exception
from kestra.
Ai -> AI
This is an UI problem, the UI automatically lower case the category except for the first letter, didn't know if it can do something else.
Misc -> cut this as it doesn't say anything
OK but in which category should the plugins be added?
Flow -> cut as it only lists Core and we already have Core as category now
Plugins in flow are also in core. I think flow is important as it contains very specific plugins that provides orchestration logic.
Enrich Transformation category with data transformation plugins like dbt, SQLMesh, Dataform, Python, R, Node.js
Is it the exhaustive list of plugins that should be added to this category? Because you said "like" ...
from kestra.
@anna-geller for MISC its our default category, what I propose is to move all plugins from MISC but keep it an filter it in the UI so users having plugins that didn't define any category will not have a breaking change.

@loicmathieu you didn't fix the AI UI part 😄

cc @brian-mulier-p maybe you know how to fix it?
Regarding Misc
-- here are categories I would suggest (the BI, Ingestion and Data Quality will be new categories then)
from kestra.
@loicmathieu let's cut Flow
category as all Flowables are in core (alternatively, if you prefer, cut Core
and keep Flow
or rename to something like Kestra Core
or Kestra
, but let's keep only one category for it)
from kestra.
@loicmathieu for transformation, you can add: dbt, SQLMesh, Dataform, Python, RScript, Node.js, Julia, Ruby, Shell, Powershell, Groovy, Jython, Nashorn, DuckDB, Databricks

You know my opinion on such smallish small things ... but be my guest
from kestra.
small things matter too, thx both Loic and Brian!
