Thanks for reporting this! The format that swapfile_size
expects is detailed in the readme here. As you said, both fallocate
and dd
use different formats.
I can't think of any logic that can be added to the role that would make this cross-compatible but I'm open to any ideas of course.
from ansible-swapfile.
You could use two different variables.{{swapfile_size}}
for fallocate, and then {{ blocksize }}
and {{ block_count }}
for dd
Another simple option would be to change swapfile_size
to swapfile_size_mb
then you can hardcode the bs=1M
and use that variable for count and for your allocate {{ swapfile_size_mb }}MB
from ansible-swapfile.
