the selected photo you selected (in the video) contains a ":" which is not allowed in filenames.

Does it work if you remove the ":" ?

If this is not the reason for the crash:

• what locale (gui-language) are you using?
• have you edited a file that contains a non-utf-8 character in it-s filename or directory?

I have only tested with german and english filenames/directories
