Native Polygon offset fill (JOGL)
Missing Polygon offset fill (jGL)

Reading this opengl page about polygon offset shows an alternative way of rendering polygon edges : using glDepthRange allows shifting a bit the edge geometries while processing depth
// Draw underlying geometry
glDepthRange (0.1, 1.0);
drawPolygonFace();
// Draw overlying geometry
glDepthRange (0.0, 0.9);
drawPolygonWireframe();
This circumvent the jGL limitation of the missing glPolygonOffsetFill
function. The ability to build geometries providing such rendering trick is added to EmulGL, the Jzy3d integration of jGL.
All Wireframeable
objects in Jzy3d now enable this rendering trick to let jGL integration work.

Related Issues (10)
- Geometries with low alpha channel appear dark and opaque instead of translucent HOT 2
- Canvas does not repaint completely HOT 1
- GL functions to support callbacks as Callable HOT 2
- Can't reset background with glClear (i.e. glClearColor is not applied) HOT 2
- Need 3d text support similar to glutBitmapString HOT 1
- GL.glDrawPixels does not work
- Let a 3d Text and Symbols be hidden by polygons HOT 1
- Line width is not applied properly : all line have a 1.0 width regardless the setting of glLineWidth
- Text rendering is awful
