synctex fails on ubuntu about jupyterlab-latex HOT 6 CLOSED

What version of synctex are you using?

Hi @flaport, it may be that SyncTeX is producing some output that our (relatively simple) parser cannot handle. A couple of questions:

1. Does SyncTeX work on the example .tex file that is in this repository?
2. If so, do you have a minimal example of a .tex file that fails for you?

@t-makaro , my version of synctex is 1.3
@ian-r-rose , synctex also does not seem to work for the sample.tex file in the jupyterlab-latex repository, yielding the same uncaught exception response.

@flaport I've published a new release (jupyterlab_latex==0.4.0) that should output more information on the notebook server logs if SyncTeX fails. If you get the chance, can you let me know what it shows upon error?
