Thinking about wrapping https://github.com/M2DOLab/OpenLSTO at least for comparison purposes?

Hi, I am Hayoung Chung and I am one of the contributors of the repo mentioned by @yijiangh. Is anyone still interested in this issue? Although I am new to Julia (and fascinated by the TopOpt project) and just have started learning it, but I would be happy if I can contribute to this issue as my small project.

Hi @HayoungChung, welcome! There is still interest in this issue. I think it might make sense to start by translating OpenLSTO to Julia and then we can figure out a way to combine the translation with TopOpt.jl. We have a regular call for the dev team every 2 weeks and a slack channel which I can invite you to if you give me your email. We can continue our discussion there or here whichever you prefer.

Hi @mohamed82008 , thanks for the prompt reply!
It also sounds awesome to see your interest to the level set method.
I have already joined to the Slack channel, so please kindly invite me to the dev team meeting. My email is: [email protected]

Invitation sent. Let me know if the time is not suitable and we can discuss a different time on slack. I can't find you on the #topopt channel on slack btw so feel free to say hi there :)
