Got it. Thanks, @vatsalkgor . Yeah, that was the issue.

Solved the issue by upgrading the react native version 0.59.10 -> 0.61.5. Don't know whether this is actually related issue to the library or I made a mistake somewhere but upgrading to rn 61.5 works for me.

Same problem (expo, "WifiManager is undefined" error), but it didn't work for me upgrading react-native to version 0.61.5 :(

Seems (since you are getting undefined error) you are using managed expo project. Managed expo project doesn't support native modules. You need to do expo eject in your app. Also in ejected project you need to request Android Location permission to make it work (have not checked on iOS).
