Sounds good and fitting to me! Unfortunately CC recommends against using their licenses for software.

I couldn't quickly find a proper software license that expressly forbids commercial use but allows everything else. The closest equivalent I can think of would be using the MIT license as a base and modifying it to forbid commercial use.

Another option would be to use one of the GPL variants which allow commercial use but require any changes to be open source and use the same license - basically copylefting the game forever and forbidding making it closed source. The usual good (and legally binding) options can be easily compared here.
