Change your javascript reference to point to share.uncompressed.js - then you should get a proper stack trace with your exception, and I can hunt it down.

For the record, this issue had nothing to do with share.js. The issue was my webhost used nginx so socket.io will not connect just requesting the domain name. On the client side i had to explicitly specify the port that the node.js app was listening on.

So for instance, instead of http://myexample.com/share/share.js, I needed to use http://myexample.com:8080/share/share.js.

Ah yes - socket.io is a known issue.
