default device on os x not working about musicbrainz-isrcsubmit HOT 2 CLOSED

It is a bit difficult with mac devices, because drutil expects a different device name/format than discisrc/libdiscid.
I am having a look right now.

I guess you are using discisrc as backend, since drutil only works if you are very patient.
I also guess you are using isrcsubmit 2 (2.0.0-beta.1 ?), from the other reports you opened.

FYI:
On Mac/Darwin the recommended way of dealing with disc drives is using drives numbers (1,2,..) rather than the actual (raw) device (/dev/rdisk2) etc. These raw device names change quite often on a Mac, in contrast to device names on every other platform (/dev/cdrom).
The problem with this: Not all tools on Mac can work with these numbers directly.
I'll try and abstract this difference to the isrcsubmit user.
