In our regular life, we always worry about security of our house & expensive goods. Because it is easy to break any simple lock for thief. Which lock become open by key, this type of lock can’t give us proper security. The thief can open this type lock very easily. As a result we lost everything. So I plan to develop a system which become IoT base and give us a solution of this type of problems of door lock. I made a IoT base security system that helps us with very effectively called “FACE DETECTION DOOR LOCK WITH HOME AUTOMATION”.

Home Security and Warning System using Face Recognition Abstract In this project we integrate HomeSecurity With Facial Recognition system.A face recognition system is one of the biometric information processes, its applicability is easier and working range is larger than others, i.e.; fingerprint, iris scanning, signature, etc. A face recognition system is designed, to identify the persons around you. The system uses a combination of techniques in two topics; face detection and recognition. The face detection is performed on live acquired images without any application field in mind. Processes utilized in the system are white balance corrections, skin like region segmentation, facial feature extraction and face image extraction on a face candidate. Then a face classification method that uses haarcascade is integrated in the system. The system is tested with a database generated in the with 30 people. The tested system has acceptable performance to recognize faces within intended limits and gives the feedback to raspberry pi for further actions to be performed based on input. The system basically acts like a surveillance body for a house keeping an eye on buglers and unusual activity at the house.

The proposed work is to send a signal to lock from a smart phone by using wireless system. Telegram app is used so that the user can get the picture of the person standing outside using a webcam and making simple commands. This allows the user to lock and unlock a door from inside or outside the house within a Wi-Fi range available. The major components of the system are Raspberry Pi, Solenoid lock. The software used for accessing the Raspberry Pi is MobaXterm.

Parking management system for managing the records of the incoming and outgoing vehicles in a parking house It’s an easy for Admin to retrieve the data if the vehicle has been visited through number, he can get that data. Nowadays in many public places such as malls, multiplex system, hospitals, offices, market areas there is a crucial problem of vehicle parking. The vehicle parking area has many lanes/slots for car parking. So, to park a vehicle one has to look for all the lanes. Moreover, this involves a lot of manual labour and investment. Instead of vehicle caught in towing the vehicle can park on safe and security with low cost. Parking control system has been generated in such a way that it is filled with many secure devices such as, parking control gates, toll gates, time and attendance machine, car counting system etc. These features are hereby very necessary nowadays to secure your car and also to evaluate the fee structure for every vehicle’s entry and exit The objective of this project is to build a Vehicle Parking management system that enables the time management and control of vehicles using number plate recognition. The system that will track the entry and exit of cars, maintain a listing of cars within the parking lot, and determine if the parking lot is full or not. It will determine the cost of per vehicle according to their time consumption.

The initial idea of this project is to develop a smart lock, which can be opened by recognizing the faces, of the people that live in the house through a camera. The face recognition is made by a system, trained with the LBP algorithm. Its function is extended, for the security of the house, by calling the police in case that an unknown face is keep trying to open the door, or need a double check through mobile notification, in a bad scenario, that someone of the inhabitants had come threatened with an unknown person. The system also contains control and push notifications over the owners Smartphone, as well as various combinations with motion sensors inside the house. The smart lock, in this project, is implemented with a servo linear actuator.

The AIM of the project is to make a smart camera that can monitor your house, office, etc and give you valuable data like keeping track of who is on the door, at when did any person arrive, click photographs on unknown people and only open the smart lock (electromagnetic based) when a known person is at the door.
