I actually found an issue with this and am currently rewriting the part with the lane linking. Thanks for the file, I can also have a look at that one to see if it is the same problem.

I see you designed a road with a single lane, maybe this is an edge case I did not cover, will have a look.

I stripped down the provided map2 file to two roads and it seems that you somehow managed to connect the two straight roads which are next to each other together.

Maybe you used the road snapping to achieve this? Can you describe a bit better what you did so that I can understand how to fix it or if it is even easily possible to fix this?

I suspect that you maybe snapped the road at the start point and then used the Shift key in oder to put it in parallel to the other road. This can not work the way the addon is currently programmed so I will disable this for now until I find a way to implement some tool that lets us create parallel roads.

try to hold down Ctrl to make roads start/end point snap to the grid but without snapping to the other road end (don't touch a road with the mouse pointer). I need to try this myself and I am thinking maybe I can suppress the road snapping while we hold the modifier key down and grid snapping is active.

I have a patch that disables road snapping during grid snapping on the main branch, need to see if this fixes your problem.

I released a new version with the snapping patch and now I am playing with your way of building roads. https://github.com/johschmitz/blender-driving-scenario-creator/releases/tag/v0.19.0 That helps somewhat but it seems that there is still a bug somewhere. I will have to further investigate.

Okay I found the bug, the roads where still linked when you touched them with the mouse even if the road snapping was disabled. I have pushed a bugfix release
