Sure looks like everything is working based on your screenshot. Perhaps the device itself is not returning a battery level according to the spec. I don't have one of these devices, and I'm unable to reproduce this issue with other devices:
I can't take any further action on this ticket without a lot more information. I encourage you to set up this project in your own local development environment, set a few breakpoints, and see what you can find. The characteristic read is triggered here: https://github.com/jnross/Bluetility/blob/master/Bluetility/Device.swift#L79, and when results (or an error) is returned, this code is called: https://github.com/jnross/Bluetility/blob/master/Bluetility/Device.swift#L129-L137. Let me know what you find!
