Unit abbreviations for intword: print '22k' instead of '22 thousand' about humanize HOT 2 CLOSED

Sounds useful. I'd suggest extending intword.

I wonder, rather than adding a Boolean flag, might there be a need in the future for a third or fourth set of endings? For example, now we have "million", and are adding (I presume scientific) "M". Might there be a non-scientific set including, maybe, "m"? Or long-scale/short-scale ("billion" v. "milliard")?

If so, we wouldn't need to add more than the two you suggest right now. What would be a good name? Maybe "suffix" or something else?

Another idea is using a special locale for abbreviated English output, for example see #73.
