I've had a diverse and adventurous journey to becoming a software engineer:

1. Medical Background: I grew up in Cuba and pursued a degree in medicine. I worked on the frontlines during the Covid-19 pandemic, which gave me a deep appreciation for technology's role in improving healthcare.

2. Worked in Africa: After my medical practice, I spent a year working in Africa. This experience broadened my horizons and allowed me to witness firsthand the positive impact technology can have on people's lives, especially in resource-constrained areas.

3. Transition to Software Engineering: Inspired by the transformative potential of good software, I moved to New York and decided to fully transition into the world of software engineering. I am committed to using my skills to make a positive impact on the world.
